| Summary | 0004176: Editing MIDI CC automation behaves oddly on regions that have had their start points trimmed | ||||
| Description | When adding CC automation to a MIDI region, if the region's start has been trimmed, the automation points are all offset by the amount that the region has been trimmed by. Steps to reproduce: * Create a new MIDI track * Create a new MIDI region within that track (drawing it in is fine), spanning measures 1 through 5 * Shrink the region by one measure at its start, so that it now spans measures 2 through 5 * Add a MIDI CC automation lane to the track * Add an automation point; it will appear one measure to the left of where you clicked | ||||
| Additional Information | I first noticed this behaviour about a week ago, but didn't work out exactly what was going on until today. Back then, I also had Ardour crash when experiencing this issue, though I couldn't reproduce the crash today. Ardour 3 SVN r9858 OS: Ubuntu 10.10 AMD64 | ||||
