Summary0004152: Selected MIDI notes in one region stay selected when working on another region
DescriptionCurrently, clicking within a MIDI region de-selects any notes selected within that region. However, it will not de-select any notes already selected within other MIDI regions. This can lead to unexpected edits, eg: performing a note resize within the current region will also resize any notes that were left selected in other regions at the time.

Unless there's a good use-case for not doing so, I think that clicking within one region should de-select any selected notes in *all* regions, not just the region that the user clicked within.

i agree. at this time, MIDI note selection is done per-region, and the current model is that you edit one region at a time. this is not necessarily how we want to proceed in the future, but while this is the model, i concur that the behaviour should be as you have described it.
