| Description | * This bugs affects Alpha 6, but since it is not in the product version list yet, I chose SVN 3.0 * Every time I play a loop containing a MIDI part, at the end of the looped part Ardour crashes with this message: ardour-3.0: ../libs/ardour/ardour/midi_buffer.h:70: EventType ARDOUR::MidiBuffer::iterator_base<BufferType, EventType>::operator*() [with BufferType = ARDOUR::MidiBuffer, EventType = Evoral::MIDIEvent<long int>]: assertion "event_size >= 0" failed. Aborted [The original error message is in Italian, hope it is translated correctly] | ||||

Does it matter what range you are looping over? |

No, it always happens, even if loop over a region larger or shorther than the MIDI clip. |
|
|
Alpha 7 + Alpha 6. Midi loop crash occurs when playhead reaches loop end marker. Just before it should jump to loop start marker. |
