Summary	0004101: Applying effects to regions in the same way as to tracks
Description	Dear coders, it would be great if it would be possible to apply effects (plugins) to specific regions as you can on tracks, because sometimes I am forced to make a lot of unnecessary tracks for every effect, or create special automation for turning them on and off. Do you think it is possible? Thank you

nandinga 2011-07-25 18:54 reporter ~0011219	For this it might be interesting to have a way to edit audio regions. It could be no more than launching an external editor like Audacity (configurable in preferences), and when saved, see the result in Ardour. It could even be non destructive, keeping a copy of the original region in the project.
