| Summary | 0004074: add an option to select a custom install of jack | ||||
| Description | I have installed jack in a specific directory: /local/stow/jack-devel I would like to be able to indicate to the waf script of ardour that it must use this directory to deal with jack. something like --jack-dir should be perfection. YC | ||||

Is there some reason you can't just modify your PKG_CONFIG_PATH accordingly? |
we will not support this, because "custom installs" of JACK routinely create problems. as noted, use PKG_CONFIG_PATH if you really want to do something like this, but don't come asking for help on the JACK mailing lists or IRC if you do. |
