| Description | Drobilla posted on 2011-04-29 that SLV2 would no longer be developed, leaving the current version at 0.6.7. Instead, he's working on a new thing called Lilv, which replaces the functionality of slv2. Lilv is, as far as I can tell, only available from his SVN tree, but it's logical to assume that SLV2 will be deprecated and Lilv will become available through standard repos. I suggest that Lilv become an optional dependency, and it should be used instead of slv2 if it's available. I know it's probably a lot of work, but it would "future-proof" that part of Ardour 3. | ||||
