Summary0004005: overlapping unforked MIDI CC data loss
DescriptionCreate a MIDI region and add an automation controller lane. Draw an inverted V shape - I don't think it matters what value you give the middle point of the inverse V but just ensure that the first and last points are at 0 and to the far left/right edge of the auto region. Now select this MIDI region and push 'd' to duplicate it once- you will then have an editor looking something like after-dupe.png (as a side issue, why are the shadow notes in the auto lanes of the two regions shown in this image not identical?) - the first real issue here you'll notice is that the downward sloping arm of the duplicated region has disappeared.

Leaving this second, duplicated region unforked, now try adding back in the downward arm of the auto curve in the second region. You can do this fine unless you drag it right back down to 0 in the bottom-right of the auto lane editing region at which point the corresponding arm in the original region will disappear as shown in after-draw.png
