| Description | The documentation says that using tab should select the next note in midi-editing. So far as I can tell, using the tab, toggles between selecting the next note and selecting nothing. That is, it takes 2 tabs to select the next note. The first tab seems to unselect the original note, and not select anything. | ||||

Works for me. Have you got an example MIDI file that exhibits this bad behaviour? |

I figured out that the behavior I got was because the midi track has data from 2 midi channels, which in this case contain exactly the same data because I recorded from my keyboard which output by default on channels 1 & 2. I guess that the tab causes to move from, say, channel 1 to the next note which is channel 2. However, the display does not show the channel 2 note, so visually it appears that no note is selected. On a track with only 1 midi channel tab, and ctrl tab work as expected. |

This is fixed in SVN 10614 so that the tabbing only uses notes that are being displayed. |
