| Description | If you hold shift while dragging one region over another (which should activate Push/Pull trim as far as I understand from the documentation), you get the regular trimming (e.g with cross-fades in audio track). However, "separate under" does work, so you can do a push/pull trim in 2 steps. | ||||

Perhaps I misunderstand how to do push/pull trim. What I have done is to split a region; select one region and drag it over the other region while holding the shift key. However, results are the same whether or not shift key is held while dragging - I get a normal overlap of regions with cross-fade. |

It's possible that something funny is going on with your keyboard bindings; can you get the push/pull trim to work using any other modifier key? e.g. ctrl-drag or alt-drag? |
