| Summary | 0003955: Renaming a track also renames its inserts -> session will not load anymore | ||||
| Description | When a track is renamed, it will rename its inserts to whatever the new track name is. The next time you load the session, it will detect an already existing port and will refuse to load the session. So its save to rename the track and create inserts afterwards, but not the other way round. | ||||
| Additional Information | irc conversation: <las> roax: the inserts are stupidly named at the JACK port level <las> roax: they should not have the same name as the track/bus they belong to, but they do <las> roax: that's the only problem <roax> las: is this a jack2-only problem? <las> roax: not at all <las> roax: ardour is creating a duplicate port name, its that simple | ||||
