| Description | I select a region, hit n to normalize, and then click the normalize button. The result is quite often, but not always, clipping (red tips on the waveform display). No errors are reported in the terminal. | ||||

Can you point us to an example sound file that exhibits this problem? |

Yes. http://renickbell.net/sound/drum-sounds-02.wav Imported it into a new session and split the file before and after the first kick sound. Then I press n to normalize the region, and the attack shows the red clipping. |

I should note that I originally experienced this on a much longer audio file (111 mb), but I found that the same incorrect (at least to my mind) result came from that operation on this smaller file. |
