| Description | This is nit-picky, but I find the fact that the plugin border stays highlighted (white) on every track until the plugin region is clicked slightly annoying. Perhaps highlight it only when the plugin windows is opened and remove the white border when the pulgin window is closed. | ||||

The highlightling of a plugin isn't just to indicate that its window is open, there are other actions that can be done against multiple selected plugins eg enable, disable or remove. |

Good point. Would removing border highlight for all selected plugins after single mouse click to non-plugin area make sense? |

clicking in the plugin area, where there are no plugins, already clears plugin selections, for that channel. To extend this to clicking anywhere to cancel selections might be too much, and possibly quite tricky. Others will have to comment. |

I'm inclined to agree with oofus; if you accept that the highlight indicates "selection", I'm not sure what benefits would accrue from removing it on any click anywhere else. |
