| Description | Create a MIDI region of 2 bars length and add an automation controller lane. Draw an inverted V shape - I don't think it matters what value you give the middle point of the inverse V but just ensure that the first and last points are at 0 and to the far left/right edge of the auto region. Now select the MIDI region and push 'd' to duplicate it once then try to adjust the newly-formed (overlapping?) central automation point between the two inverted V shapes- every time I do under 9169 it crashes. | ||||

This still crashes alpha 4. I noticed Ben has done a lot of work on automation in mixbus recently - might this get brought over to A3? |

I would suspect this requires a similar fix to what has just been applied to stop the insertion of notes at the beginning of a duplicated region causing a crash as Paul tells me A3 doesn't handle overlapping cc data yet. Doing the above (copying then adjusting overlapping automation) still causes current svn to crash even though we can insert notes at the start of an adjacent region fine now. |
