| Description | Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional: When using the PFL function, you actually hear the pre-mixer signal. So no plugins which are pre-fader in the mixer will be heard (rev. 8873) Maybe this is intentional so, but then the naming is wrong. I would prefer the PFL to work like in an analog console, so you hear EQs etc. which are prefader in PFL mode. It's such a great feature for live mixing! | ||||

I think we should fix this so that the listening point is just pre-fader (after pre-fader plugins). |

Funnily enough I was just thinking about this and was wondering if it should be configurable. The options would be : PFL is Pre-fader Pre-processing or PFL is Pre-fader Post processing It would be a global option set in the prefs, with Pre-Fader Post-Processing as the default. |

Standard behaviour should be directly before the fader (after pre-fader plugins). First of all that is what people expect if they know analog consoles, secondly it's logical from the visualization of the mixer strip. Otherwise it shouldn't read PFL. A configurable option is always nice, but I don't know if it's needed. |

Should be fixed in SVN 8903. There is now an option in the "Audio" tab of the Edit->Preferences dialogue. |
