| Description | sometimes a newly created session just don't wanna play. hittin 'space' or clicking the play button - nada also looping, playing range - nothing but very randomly and no idea where to look. when restarting the session still the same. it is newly created session, added 4 empty tracks it, one send. i was 'playing' /toggling/ the send fader, clicking at the mono button and double clicking at the editor list in order to see the effect of revision8443. i ll attach the session file, perhaps someone is clever enough with that. cheers, doc | ||||

well, here is another session file, from the session i created and did nothing exept hit play, but it is not playing. so, here i was not clicking around and nothing... cheers, doc |

it looks for me, the playback is brocken here, since no one session will play in the moment. also not the session created and playd yesterday. |

Do you have "Stop at session end" set in the Transport tab of Edit -> Preferences? |

yes, but since i was not doing anything with that option, i suppose it was checked for longer, perhaps even always. anyway, unchecking this option, makes the session which would not play, work again. but look, unckecking this option (session plays) and checkig again, makes the session don't play. even uncheking the option, than saving, quiting and starting new session, it does not play. uncheking this option and the session plays again. cheers, doc |

Could you uncheck the option, save, quit and then attach the file ~/.config/ardour3/ardour.rc to this bug report? |

Not a bug; slight misunderstanding of A3's new behaviour wrt session start/end markers. |
