Whereabouts in the processor list do you have the fader? If it's before the VSTi, it will be controlling the volume of the MIDI going in, rather than the audio coming out. |

Do you mean that the plugin name is above the word "Fader" in the processor list? |

OK, sorry, now I see what you mean. No, the plugin was below the word fader in that list but regardless of it controlling MIDI IN or volume out I shouldn't be able to hear anything from the plugin when the fader was at the bottom hence the bug still stands. Thanks for clarifying its operation though! |

'scuse me! No, the bug does not stand. Just tried again with exactly the same version with fader/plugin in both positions in the processor box and the fader worked fine. The reason I thought it wasn't working was that if you have the plugin after the fader (controlling MIDI in- which I didn't know at the time) and try adjusting the fader during a lengthy note it appears nothing is happening. Do the same with the the fader after the plugin and the volume does adjust mid-note just fine. Sorry C! |
