| Summary | 0003562: Plugin text, in the channel redirect area, should be a button rather than just text. | ||||
| Description | Plugin text, in the channel redirect area, should be a button rather than just text. This would allow a single click to show the plugin GUI and then another single click to hide it again, rather than having to dismiss the plugin window. Also make the enable tick box for the plugin a button as well, and link that enable button to the bypass of the plugin itself. | ||||

After further discussion on IRC Carl and I decided that this wouldn't work fully, due to plugin selection requirements. Will try making double click on a plugin reveal and hide them accordingly. |
Double-click now opens and closes plugin editors. I'm not sure if linking Ardour's bypass button to the plugin's one is possible in all cases. |
On further thought about the bypass button, it is probably not desirable to do it anyway. Let's leave it as it is. |
