| Description | If I create a MIDI note of at least two beats length in the existing MIDI track of the attached session I am unable to insert a note in the adjacent grid slot. | ||||

Attached session was created under 8061 running under opensuse 11.3 32 |

I think this is because when new notes are created using drags with grid snap enabled, they end in such a position that they will overlap with adjacent notes. I have patched SVN to avoid this, so attempts to place notes adjacent to *new* notes in the attached session work. To work around the problem with existing notes, change the "MIDI Note Overlaps" option in the Misc tab of the session properties to something like "shorten the overlapped existing note." |
