Summary0003429: Sustain controller is either not recorded, or not played back.
DescriptionSteps to reproduce:

1. Create a new session
2. Create a MIDI track
3. Record yourself playing something beautiful and inspiring on your digital piano, using the damper pedal
4. play the recording back through the digital piano. The notes are all there but the damper pedal goes untouched.
Additional InformationI've attached a session file with this problem. If you don't have a digital piano, your favorite MIDI synth should display the symptoms just fine.

(The song is "God of our fathers, whose almighty hand," a good Protestant hymn.)

This is because the sustain pedal is considered automation data, and the automation track defaults to not playing back. I'll fix this. The workaround is to show the automation track for the sustain controller and then set it to "Play".

Should be fixed now in SVN. Thanks!
