| Description | I need to be able to zoom to the playhead or edit cursor, maybe which ever is in focus at the time, rather than just the centre of the screen. Very important when doing a lot of edits for voice-over work or fiddly cut/paste/crossfades etc. If zoom follows the playhead then it is most likely following your line of sight... most important. | ||||

click on the zoom focus selector. choose "playhead". simple, eh? |

Another useful feature is zooming with Shift-mousewheel. This zooms in and out while keeping whats under the mouse cursor in place. I personally find this the most useful form of zooming in ardour. |
