What should happen in this case? Should just the automation track be fitted, or should its parent track AND the auto track be fitted? Currently if you select a track which has an automation track and do "fit tracks", the track AND its auto track are fitted. |

When I did this (with the auto track selected as active) I was expecting just the automation track to be fitted. I would prefer that if you pushed f on a track with an auto track open with the audio/midi track selected, the track and the open auto tracks get fitted but if an auto track is the selection then that gets fitted. If you wanted to just fit any audio or midi track then you would need to close any of its auto tracks (Hide All Automation), select it then push f. |
