Summary0003383: shift-clicking a selected MIDI automation point crashes A3
DescriptionCreate a MIDI track w/ a MIDI automation track with a few control points, use rubberband to select one or more of the MIDI automation control nodes then shift+left click any one of the nodes- 7546 crashes.

What I was trying to do was add a control point to the already existing selection that was missed out when using the rubberband, which I hoped to be able to do with CTRL or SHIFT and LMB to select/deselect a node.

The crash itself should be fixed in SVN. I don't think any of the automation code supports what you're after though, currently; shift-click "resets" selected points to a default value (e.g. 0 in the case of a fader).

Your suggestion would make sense though, I think.

Yes, the shift-click crash is fixed.

I could see the shift-click doing what it does being useful so that should stay I suppose as I think CTRL-click to do what I wanted makes more sense anyway. Resolve this and I'll open a feature request for that.

Thanks Carl!
