not that i don't want to add it, but in all honesty, what will you do with it? |

Well, just type in a pan value for the whole track without automation, essentially sets the first automation value. Also, thre is the display only issue, it is just comforting to see a number showing that you're 100 units, or whatever, hard left. 99 units and 100 units would look the same with only a graphic indicator.... I can see why it makes sense not to have it, however. My students forget that automation overides what they type in. |

pan was completely redesigned. edit click on a pan controller to get a numerical display/entry widget. |
