| Description | AFAIK the only ways to currently adjust the note velocity of a MIDI note under A3 are to patch your libgnomecanvas and use the scrollwheel over it or open the .ardour session file in a text editor and manually enter the velocity. Tonight I found myself accidentally CTRL + RMB clicking on a MIDI note expecting a edit dialogue to pop open and then I realised thats what it should do as CTRL+RMB clicking a MIDI note doesn't seem to do anything atm. ATM everybody has to patch libgnomecanvas so this is nice for people who don't like the thought of patching and recompiling a difficult to remove system library, if they know how to. | ||||

In fact, how about assigning this to just RMB on a MIDI note? ATM when you RMB on a MIDI note you can adjust its channel - I think that should be CTRL-RMB instead personally as I can't see me needing to change a notes channel much. |

Two seconds later I realised my original suggestion was prob the best for consistency but I'll let someone else decide this one. |

I think this would still be a nice, logical feature to have but its not as important as I thought when I filed it as I've just accidentally discovered you can adjust a notes velocity by selecting it, holding CTRL then pushing the up and down arrow keys hence no libgnomecanvas patching required. |
