| Description | Although I have yet to attempt compiling A3 under OSX myself yet and there being a few files that seem to relate to AU support, when I last spoke to Seablade about this a few days ago he said there was currently no working AU support under A3 OSX. Seeing as we have VST(i) support working under Linux it would make sense to try and get some AU plugin support - hopefully for both FX and synths - ready for OSX users to test in the beta. | ||||

I was told that building Ardour without AU support wasn't an option and according to recent commits A3 builds under OSX (Tiger, at least) now but I have the niggling feeling there is not AU MIDI support yet. Is my niggle on the wiggle?? |

its correct that there is no AU MIDI support yet. i hope to be working on this during the week (if only in terms of reading up on how its supposed to work - it doesn't appear to use the same model of inputs+inputs that is used for audio). |

just as a note: this is mostly done, but currently untestable by anyone due to other, more basic issues with a3 on OS X. |
