| Description | His Dukeness returns to demonstrate that there be gremlins in A3's MIDI import circa 7260. Upon importing this MIDI, it seems to me that the first real MIDI track (channel 3) gets imported fine but the second (channel 4) starts going real wrong about bar 16 and by the end of the song in bar 42 the second piano track (channel 4) is over 2 beats behind the other track. This MIDI plays fine in Rosegarden and Timidity. | ||||

I believe this is now fixed in SVN. |

Looks like it is to me to and that was a real important MIDI bug thats been fixed there. Well done and thanks again Carl! I've just looked through all my other MIDI bug reports and they're really all just tweaks or usability enhancements/ feature requests that remain now except for the issues involved in resolving 3203. I plan to be making regular use of MIDI automation and so even though A3 has become much more usable for MIDI this weekend, its inability to save and load MIDI automation without messing up discrete/linear data is the final showstopper for me. Soooo close now, closer than I thought a few hours ago to that beta! |
