| Description | Right now the open dialog defaults to the home directory of the user. It would nice to have the option to set a default project direcotry, and to be able to toggle the ability of ardour to remember the last directory accessed. | ||||

This subject is very important when talking about importing new files (not from home directory)into a session. Even better would be to do the same thing as with the possibility to store favourite locations when creating a new session. |

The new file dialog in gtk-2.4 has this feature. I think we should wait for that. |
