Summary0003198: Reverse 'f' function
DescriptionWhen selecting a track header and pressing the 'f' key Ardour will maximise the track heigh to fit into the editor window. It would be nice we could toggle the track back to the previous height if one pressed the 'f' key a second time with the track selected.

This feature will make the editing in place of midi events smoother since you can go to large edit area to normal edit area very quickly.

No it does not. Single button press would be preferable.

for future reference, its shift-z, not ctrl-shift-z

Lincoln: is Shift-Z suitable for your purposes? If not, what's wrong with it?

Yes, that seems to do the job.
