| Description | svn-ongoing@Revision 7125. -first remove the .ardour2 -open new sessin -the 'alt+m' keybinding is for 'switch between editor and mixer' function per default. -now keep the mouse on menu->window->show mixer, and type 'alt+m' -'alt+m' is now shown as a keybinding for 'show mixer' function in the menu and in the keybinding editor. -now type 'alt+m'--->nothing happens. ----------- another way to reproduce: -first remove the .ardour2 -open new session -go to the keybindings editor -under 'common' find 'show mixer' action. -click on this action and type 'alt+m' ....nothing happens -try to assign any other shortcut combination to this action, it will be accepted. ........... summary: i am able to open the mixer only by clicking on menu->windows->show mixer. when i hold the mouse over this action, a can assign the binding 'alt+m' to this action, but typing 'alt+m' will not show the mixer. in the .ardour2/ardour.bindings file, this action+keybinding are defined right and not commented out. if i try to assign this binding to the action in the keybinding editor by typing 'alt+m', the keybinding is not accepted. in the preference dialog, kbd/mouse tab, i use 'your own' keyboard layout, but changing to another layout does not helps either. yesterday on irc other people confirmed that 'alt+m' is not working in the svn-ongoing, but it is working in the A3. also the default action for 'alt+m', 'switch between editor and mixer' is not working. cheers, doc | ||||

At revision 8876 this issue is resolved now and works in a2 and a3 properly. cheers, doc |
