NEWS FLASH >>>>CAN'T RECREATE THIS BEHAVIOUR AT ALL IN MY NEW RH9/Planet CCRMA SETUP. Perhaps this is a Mandrake 9.2\Thac issue ?? I also notice that the colour of the buttons (channel rec buttons, master solo, auditioner, mouse select etc) are all grey in Mandrake 9.2/Thac but red, pink, yellow etc in RH9 CCRMA. I can record, playback, resize windows etc no problem This alternate machine does not have a Matrox G450 dual-head and does have a cheap sound-blaster installed instead of a C-Port ice1712. I will be brining home my DAW from the studio today to re-install RH9/CCRMA and report the result. Looks really good so far ! Geoff. |

OK, I've completely re-installed using Planet CCRMA and can't re-create Saturdays behaviour. Seems it was a Mandrake 9.2/Thac thing. This week will see Ardour put through some full on tests and sessions. Here goes... Cheers. |
