As I'm Ardour-only I tried to reproduce this on 2.0-ongoing built from revision 6438. For me this happens only if the track on wich I record the click on is connected to a hardware input at the same time. The click then is early by jack's (single sided) latency. @rtp405: You could make sure that the track input is not connected to any other source than the click and check if it's still early under these conditions. |

I repeated the test; if there's a hardware port on the click output or mixerstrip input then the click is early. The mixerstrip output routed to hardware does not cause a problem and is the solution/work-around for producing when a printed click is needed. the_cla, thanks for catching that. |

I repeated it once more - just to be sure... The interesting thing is that in my tests it only appeared with HW port on the track input. A HW port on the click output did not make a difference. |
