| Summary | 0000289: Importing mono wav into stereo track crashes ardour | ||||
| Description | Well the summary says it all. For getting a defined state for reproducing another bug I started a fresh session. A single stereo track is the current default for a new session without using templates. I did not notice the track being stereo and tried to import /usr/share/sound/info.wav, a 644 ms 16 bit 44100 Hz single channel wave file. Ardour crashed imediately with a segfault. | ||||
| Additional Information | System: ardour 0.9beta11.2, official release compiled from source jack 0.94.0 official release compiled from source with capabilities enabled kernel 2.4.20 with low lat patch and capabilities enabled distribution Debian Sarge up to date as of today | ||||

for me, ardour crashes whenever anything in the wav file does not match the session: number of tracks, *and* sample rate (tried to import 44k1 file into 48k session) |
