| Description | I keep getting this issue a lot on some kernels no matter if they are RT or not. On some when exporting, everything runs just fine, and in other kernels (even RT pathed) it just seems to freeze forcing me to kill Ardour. | ||||

this is not happening on my machine, but it is happening on my girlfriends one. when trying to export a range or a session, at the end of export the export window does not close and ardour is frozen, so i am only able to kill it. the both machines are almost the same (thinkpad r50e / r51) and has the same distri (aptosid). ardour 2.8.11 selfcompiled from sources. the only difference is that i upgraded my ram to 2G, the other machine has only 512M. could that be the problem? btw, this one could be related: http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=1746 i still haven't try to run ./ardbg on her machine, but since i found this reports here, i will try soon. cheers, doc |
