| Description | I activate jack and click on ardour and get the message that I do not have permission to start the session and says it will not load the session. Now it is doing it more frequently. I used to be able to reboot and solve the problem, but now nothing works. Looks like I am going to have to reformat. I really like beta3 but its buggy, locks up all the time. The previous version of 64studio would suddenly stop in the middle of a session and state that the session stopped because ardour was not fast enough. I dont have this problem with 3.0 and that's important especially when I'm running 2 64bit processors with 2gigs of ram and a sata hard drive. | ||||

Hi. Can you give the exact message that you get when it fails to load. What session are you trying to load? Thanks, Carl |

This really looks like a distribution issue, not an issue with Ardour. I would strongly suggest you take this to Studio64's support channels, as this seems like it is a permissions problem on your directories. I am resolving this issue for now as it seems unrelated to Ardour. |
