| Summary | 0002697: Some track level meters don't respond during playback. | ||||
| Description | Sometimes, when recording a track or laying down audio data, all is fine, I can see the levels of that track spiking up and down during recording. But then during playback, the level meters for that specific track don't move, just stay at zero (inf) level, but I can hear the audio of that track at good level, moving the level slider for that track does affect the gain for that track, but justdoesn't show the meter value, so this makes it a little hard to mix and level with other tracks inside the project. | ||||

click on that tracks header and then look under the meter on the mixer strip on the left hand side of Ardour and see what the meter point button says. It might be set to 'input', if so click that button so it is set to the same as the other channels, probably 'post' |

Ah, of course, that track was inputed from a bus. Sorry about that. Changed it to post and now I see the meters moving. :) |

I've always kind of daydreamed of a 3d meter, showing input/pre/post at the same time... but... call this issue closed. |
