| Description | Ardour 3.0 SVN 5112 compiled with WAF, VST & LV2. I run it with jack running and I get: Output is: ardour: [ERROR]: Ardour: could not find any ui configuration file, canvas will look broken. ardour: [INFO]: Ardour will be limited to 1024 open files Loading user configuration file /home/agorka/.ardour3/ardour.rc ardour: [INFO]: No H/W specific optimizations in use ardour: [INFO]: looking for control protocols in /home/agorka/.ardour3/surfaces:/ur/local/lib/ardour3/surfaces (ardour-3.0:7354) GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: invoking IsSupported() failed for remote volume monitor with dbus name org.gtk.Private.GduVolumeMonitor: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildSignaled: Process /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor received signal 11 Then, Ardour's "What would you like to do?" appears, I choose 'Open a new session' for example. Console output is: Checking into 16 Tracks.template using .template Checking into 4 Tracks.template using .template Checking into 32 Tracks.template using .template Checking into 8 Tracks.template using .template Checking into 2 Track.template using .template Found 5 along /usr/local/share/ardour3/templates:/home/agorka/.ardour3/templates "New Session" dialog appears, I enter session name, press Apply and ardour closes without any console output. This happens with/without jack running, with or without additional parameters when I create session and so on. I just can't start Ardour. This happens for two weeks already, while before I was able to run Ardour3. In the same time, I'm able to run Ardour2. | ||||

I tried building 6028 without VST, it installs and starts ok. I think this bug could be considered as fixed. |
