Summary0002495: ardour causes heavy dsp load and xrun after playing a track or hitting stop
Descriptionon ubuntu 8.10, with ubuntu 8.04 rt-kernel
and ardour 2.7 from "getdeb"
i noticed the following bug (?)
everytime the playhead crosses the end of a region on a track it causes
an xrun with a noticeable increase of dsp-load.
same when stopping transport within the track.
when not playing a track but an empty part of the composition it does not
happen.

This does sound like a possible denormal problem. Check your settings under Options>Denormal Handling and see if changing them makes a difference? Thanks.
