| Description | ongoing@4142 -remove the .ardour2 directory -create new session -import some audio -go menu->transport->forward -- the playback starts playing forward -now go menu->transport->rewind at this point the playback seems to play backwards correctly, but the playhead is springing to some point in the time line and it does not move. this is also reproducible in other direction, means first doing rewind and than trying to do forward. sometimes even if i ask to do rewind first, the playhead does not move at all, the playback is playing forward and at some point ardour begins to play backwards and the playhead follows. the behavior is pretty the same if i try to play fast-forward/fast-rewind by clicking more than once into the menu item, or even if i do bind some short cut to the both functions. cheers, doc | ||||

...i just realized that the point where the playhead will go is the same point where i first started the transport action. cheers, doc |
