| Description | gcc became standard in most distro, so it's time to begin using it. This patch fixes an include problem: https://www.scimmia.net/code/browser/packages/ardour/trunk/debian/patches/01-missing-includes-gcc4.3.patch Also, please note that, like for 0002408, i included in my *personal* public distro place 2 days ago for having a working ardour 2.5, and now i'm here sharing with you (upstream). And, just for sake of clarity with Paul, if you release a 2.5 with bug, and i want to distribute a 2.5 without, i will obviously share with you as soon as my patches are ready for sharing, and also include it in my distro, or propose it in Debian, or elsewhere. Otherwise the packaging practice lose means by definition, as probably there is very few bug-free stuff out of there. HTH, cheers | ||||

hmm. that fix went into svn rev 3606 .... 2.5 is known not to compile with 4.3, but svn does. please confirm. |

Yes, confirmed, thank you. Also, please excuse me but i can't figure how to compile bugs against correct product version, is SVN/2.0-ongoing the right one if i want to bug you with 2.5 release ? :) ciao, |
