| Summary | 0000237: Latency compensation of LADSPA plugins not working | ||||
| Description | It appears to me that the latency compensation for LADSPA plugins that have a control out port named "latency" (with the sample shift number written to it) doesn't work, or at least not the way I would expect. It is possible that I did something wrong or my LADSPA plugin implementation is broken, so I wrote a simple test plugin to verify this problem (and to show what I exactly did): http://www.hszk.bme.hu/~st444/tap/latencytest.tar.gz (I have also uploaded the file with this report.) There is a hardcoded sample delay number at the top of the code, which can be modified as needed. The plugin GUI has a toggle button for switching the delay on/off. It appears to me as if there was no latency compensation at all. When I switch the latency delay on/off, the position of the music skips backward/forward. | ||||
