Summary0002353: Zooming by scrollball still awkward
DescriptionArdour 2.5 OSX native Alpha intel: When scrolling with Command-key pressed, thus zooming in or out a track, following behaviour occurs:
-[CMD]-scroll up: the view zooms in, using 00:00:00:00 as point of origin
-[CMD]-scroll down: the view zooms out, now using the mouse pointer as point of origin (correct behaviour)
-[CMD]-scroll right: the view zooms in, with the mouse pointer as point of origin
-[CMD]-scroll left: the view pans to the left (tracks scroll to the right).
Additional InformationThe [CMD]-scroll right behaviour should be on the [CMD]-scroll up function; the [CMD]-scroll right function should be: just pan the view to the right (tracks scroll to the left).

Apparently the model of zooming/resizing using mouse scrolling has been altered; since version 2.7.1 it is possible to zoom in or out just by scrolling up or down in the time-bar. So this issue has become irrelevant and obsolete. Please close.
