Summary0002352: Removal of track throws other tracks into random order
DescriptionIn Ardour 2.5 native OS X intel Alphabuild, when removing a track, the other tracks are thrown around in random order. Also, the Editor Mixer is removed from the Editor (should show the next available track, or the previous track when there is no next track).

I have noticed the same issue here, it's quite annoying. By the way, it's not exactly random, it has something to do with the top tacks going to the bottom.
I agree that the Editor Mixer should be still visible, showing the next track.
I am using ardour 2.5 (built from revision 3525) under Ubuntu Studio.

the first part of your bug report is fixed now. it will be in the upcoming 2.6 release.

please don't report two issues in 1 report. there is already an issue filed about the behaviour of the editor mixer strip when the track it is showing is removed.
