| Summary | 0002257: Naming tracks then adding new track crashes A3. | ||||
| Description | In a new, empty instance of A3 (A2miditrunksvn), i add a track, then name it and save. When i go to add a new track, Ardour crashes. After returning back into Ardour after the crash, the new track and name are present, but the same thing happens when i add another track, name it, and save it. Adding another track then crashes Ardour. My workaround for this has been to enter all tracks, without naming or saving during the process, then saving. With this approach i can enter the required number of tracks without crashes. Then, after saving, all tracks can be named, but still without saving until the entire naming process is finished. Alex. The same behaviour is present in UbuntuStudio (Hardy 64bit RT) and Suse 10.3 (64bit RT) |

I can't reproduce this. Adding/renaming/adding works fine here for both audio and midi tracks (R3378). |
