| Summary | 0002256: midi edit mode fails to release. | ||||
| Description | After inputting notes manually, i then click outside the note, in the same region, to release the modified note from edit mode. The note resumes normal colour and loses the blue border signifying edit. But when i save, or move to edit another note in the same region, the previous note resumes edit mode, and any action i commit to the second note note reflects in the first. Further to this, when i exit all regions, and go to save, then commence another edit, all manually edited notes in all regions once again suddenly switch to edit mode. In two tracks, with a midi region each, and edited notes in each, any editing actions i make in track2 midi region don't affect track 1 midi region, but the notes are still in edit mode, and any 'pass' of the mouse over that region, then affects those notes. It's my humble and inexperienced opinion that once notes are edited, they remain 'edit live' and the mechanism for releasing the notes from edit mode is not working, be it clicking outside the note in the region, or hitting the esc key.
