| Description | I sometimes see a funny thing when playing with region automation curves. I don't know how it is triggered, it seems random but you may end up with a weird "ghost" point very far from the region. It's like something is buggy with how the automation boundaries are refreshed at the region ends. And you cannot remove this extra point or at least not the normal way (shift + right click). Closing ardour and restarting it does not solve this, redrawing the curve either. The only way is to RESET the curve and rebuild it ... But the problem is more visual than anything because this extra point does not influence the volume of the region. | ||||

I've been experiencing the same issue. It looks like it happens when you create an automation point and then resize the region shortening it in such a way that this point's location becomes outside of the new region boundaries. it will then randomly display this very long automation lines outside of the region boundaries. I've been solving this by resizing the region to reveal that hidden point and then delete it. |

I am unable to reproduce this on Ardour 2.7 Mac OS X Intel, is this still present for either of you? Seablade |
