| Description | I was messing around with some AUs: s(M)exoscope by Bram @ Smartelectronix C3 Multiband Compressor by SlimSlowSlider I set the scope's refresh time nice and low, and activated both plugins. Then I set the transport rolling. As the transport was rolling, I activated and deactivated the compressor a number of times, one of those leading to a 10 second beach ball followed by a rather un-gracefull crash. Console Dump attached. I think the compressors were internally bypassed within the plugin at the time. By the way, the compressor was on a bus, the scope on the master out post-fader. Tried unsuccessfully to reproduce. Jackdmp 0.691 JackRouter 0.8.6 GUI things: The plugin windows stay on top, won't hide behind editor. hotkeys don't respond when plugin windows focussed. Lack of second monitor at fault. Please ship monitor to Jerusalem, will report back when it arrives ;) see ticket # 2162 Parameter changes don't cause the titlebar to show asterisk. Can you check 2.8.1 and tell me if there is still a problem for you? We fixed a couple of plugin bugs, at least one of which specifically related to AU crashes. Thanks. Seablade |
