possibly related in cvs :Ardour/GTK 0.545.1 running with libardour 0.848.0 new session with auto connect add mono track remove one port on the output of the track the panner stays but does nothing and disabling autoconnect in the options window doesn't work it still autoconnects a new track OTOH I am not able to reproduce the dead pannerfield as decribed |

beta9 is very old. Please upgrade to the latest version. There have been many changes to panning since then. |

so I guess I should open a new bug report for the issue in current CVS? This one can than be closed |

Thanks for getting to this, but yes 11 months have passed and this problem should be closed. |
