Summary0002039: Fullscreen issue under gnome
DescriptionThere is an annoying behaviour related with fullscreen mode and gnome: under certain conditions, ardour is not able to go back to windowed mode.

To reproduce open an ardour session and go fullscreen with F11. Now, switch to mixer (Alt + M) and then switch back to Editor (Alt + E). At this point, it is no more possible to come back to windowed (i.e. not fullscreen) mode. Pressing F11 does not restore the standard ardour window.

The attached file unmaximized.png depicts what I get when I try to unmaximize ardour: the standard editor window, but extended to fill the entire screen (i.e. no gnome menu, no window manager decorations).

Note that ardour 2.2 is also affected.

It seems that this issue has been silently resolved. I checked Ardour 2.4.1 and it maximizes/unmaximizes correctly. Could anyone verify and mark the bug as "resolved"?
