| Description | in ongoing@2893: -create new session -choose ->menu->option->audio file format->header->broadcast WAVE -set the playhead at b.e. 20sec's in the time line -create new track -record some audio ( i tried connecting aqualung to a track) -export the audio file (via region context menu) to wave, 16bit, 48k ...... -now create another session -choose 'broadcast WAVE' again -press alt+i, navigate to the previously exported file -uncheck the option 'copy files to session' -get sure that the option 'use file timestamp' is choose -the region gets imported that way, that the beginning of the region is at the beginning of the session - in my understanding the beginning of the region should be located at 20 sec's in the time line. cheers, doc | ||||

what timestamp is shown in the "preview" pane when setting up the import? |

this is repaired in v2.4 (and i am not sure anymore, if it ever was broken). if record the file at some point inna time line and than bounce that region, embedding it again will be done as expected, at the same time as it was recorded in. cheers, doc |
