| Summary | 0002015: Crash when renaming a Bus while playing | ||||
| Description | Ardour on Linux (Mandriva 2008). I had created new a stereo bus in a project which already had 4 normal tracks, added one post-fader plugin to the bus (TAP Reverberator) and added post-fader sends in 2 tracks to send audio to that Bus. I did all this while Ardour was playing back. While still playing back I went to Rename the Bus. When I entered the new name and pressed Return, Ardour became unresponsive but the audio kept on playing. Eventually I forced it to quit, at which point Jack also crashed. | ||||

I'm afraid I'm unable to confirm or deny this as I currently can't get the latest Ardour (2.8.3) to compile successfully. |

What problem are you having with the 2.8.3 compile? |

It's failing to build the clearlooks module. Paul is aware of this and he thinks it's a bug in the tarball. Thanks. |
